This extends from regional purchasing through our "Frische aus Main-Spessart" (Freshness from Main-Spessart) action group, climate-friendly mobility offers such as shuttle services to/from the train station or for cyclists, reducing single-use plastic in rooms and in catering, generating energy and heat through a combined heat and power plant, to the complete utilization of food through our own homemade sausage. Our lockable bike garage with e-bike charging points, professional bike repair station, luggage transport or train station shuttle service, tour suggestions with local insider tips, hearty breakfast buffet, and fresh, regional cuisine are just some of the amenities our guests love.
That's why we are certified as a Bett+Bike guest establishment – a seal awarded by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club e. V. (adfc) to hotels that offer the best conditions for cycling holidays.
By the way: we are located on the Main Cycle Route, which is ideal for leisure cyclists and nature lovers, offering 600 kilometers of flat terrain. We are a partner of Naturpark Spessart e.V. and work together with the nature park association and the Spessart-Mainland tourism association to promote sustainable development in the Spessart region.

Back in 2002, an Agenda 21 project in the district led to the creation of the"Frische aus Main-Spessart"(Freshness from Main-Spessart) action group, in which restaurateurs, producers, and direct marketers joined forces to offer and process fresh, ecologically valuable food from our region.
